Should exposure to dirt, debris, sun lotion, or other environmental elements cause mold or mildew to occur, simply spot clean with a bleach solution.Easy to Clean Engineered to maintain their integrity, Sunbrella fabrics are easy to clean. When life happens, blot spills with a clean, dry cloth and use mild soap and warm water to remove. Gore Tenara:
Made from an exclusive ePTFE fiber, GORE TENARA thread brings improved sewability. The robust, elongated thread allows for faster sewing. Included in the color options is the highly popular clear thread that disappears into most fabrics for ease of matching. The high-tenacity sewing thread has built-in sun protection from UV radiation, weather resistance, and resistance to mold, mildew, and chemicals. Dirt wipes right off so cleaning is easy. The thread’s color won’t fade or bleed into the fabric. It will even outlast the fabric it’s sewn into.
Dot Fasteners:
DOT Durable fasteners offer stable snap action, reliable engineering, and robust holding power. With self-piercing capacity, they can puncture even the thickest fabric without the need to pre-punch holes. DOT Screw studs made from durable brass and stainless steel, this screw stud will fasten firmly. Strong enough to puncture multiple layers of material, DOT Durables work great for projects utilizing marine canvas and upholstery fabric.
#10 Ykk Zippers:
YKK #10 VISLON separating zippers are extremely strong and lightweight. With teeth made from sturdy, injection-molded acetal plastic and polyester tape, they outmatch the typical zipper. The VISLON zipper is self-lubricating and erosion resistant. It functions smoothly against sand, mud, and other environmental elements. Because the color is integrated into the molding material, the finish does not chip, peel or rub off.
Textline 80 Solar Screen:
TEXTILENE® 80 and 90 are durable synthetic fabrics made of PVC coated polyester. Designed to reduce heat transfer and solar glare, our fabrics can lower overall energy cost and protect indoor furnishings. Fade resistant, they are excellent choices for a variety of indoor or outdoor uses. TEXTILENE® 80 blocks up to 80% of the sun’s rays and TEXTILENE® 90 blocks up to 90% of the sun’s rays.
